Employing 350 people in Nailsea, we look after the customer journey on behalf our parent companies Bristol Water and Wessex Water. This includes everything from meter reading, billing and customer services. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated administrator within our Processing Centre supporting our customer services and meter operations teams.
As a Processing Centre Administrator at Pelican Business Services, you will be responsible for managing high volume administrative tasks, including application forms, updating customer information and engaging with your team to achieve targets and key performance indicators. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer contact and the ability to communicate effectively is key as we liaise with parent companies and customers to ensure we manage and enhance our customer journey.
Please note that this is a fixed-term role for a period of 18 months.
You'll have experience in providing excellent customer service and who's not afraid to pick up the phone and wow our customers. You will have the ability to multi task, with high attention to detail in a high-volume environment; you are highly driven and self-motivated.
We're looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, including sharing best practices, a willingness to adapt and respond to change including making suggestions and process improvements.
Well-developed IT skills are key, particularly Word and Excel, and you will have the ability to problem solve and use your own initiative.
