Pelican Business Services are looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join the People team. This role provides a fabulous opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join the business at a time of growth, supporting our strategy of ‘right people, right role, right place’.

You will be pivotal in providing both strategic and hands on support to our hiring managers to ensure that the recruitment lifecycle is managed efficiently and effectively, from initial demand and concept, through to onboarding. Coaching, challenging and supporting hiring managers through the process will be a large focus of your role, alongside recruitment and onboarding administration and support.
This role is hands on and based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater three days a week, with the remainder of the week based at the Pelican office in Nailsea with the rest of the People team.
You will have considerable experience of recruitment/resourcing (preferably in-house), and bring with you insight of the marketplace, candidate experience and recruitment toolkit. Due to the nature of the roles we are predominantly recruiting, an understanding of the construction industry would be a real benefit, but not essential, as long as you have the drive to learn.
Coaching and supporting the hiring managers is key to this role, therefore you should be comfortable interacting with them and be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence, with good attention to detail.
You will require strong planning and organising skills and be able to manage a varied workload with multiple priorities.
